2018年(nián )12月9日，首届海南(🥨)岛国际(👄)电影节(jiē )国(guó )际(👟)(jì(🔶) )影展(zhǎn )开幕式，在海南(🎦)省(💄)三亚市大东海(hǎ(🔌)i )广(📝)(guǎng )场沙(shā )滩(tān )举行。为推(🎸)进海南电影产业发(😞)(fā )展(🛁)、(🥡)实(shí )现(xiàn )本土化(🤤)与(💜)国际化兼顾的格局，此(💷)次(💬)国(guó )际(jì )影展还特(👊)别开设了“海南新力(lì )量(👣)”展(😑)(zhǎn )映(yìng )单元。该单(😍)元公(😒)开(🕳)征集到海南(nán )作(🌩)者(🐹)、海(hǎi )南制作(zuò )的影(🐠)片(🕟)共七十余部。选出《藏(🏉)(cáng )北(běi )密(mì )岭—重返无(👺)人(📬)区》、《追梦的黎族(zú )女(🍠)(nǚ(🤥) )娃(wá )娃》、《九号重(🏮)案(💮)》、《焉知非福》、《侬(nóng )婆(pó(❕) )》、《无间》、《余光童梦(💍)》、《完(➕)(wá(🥂)n )人(rén )测试》、《开着(📜)房(🏺)车环岛游》共九部(bù )优(🤖)(yō(🌍)u )秀作品。开幕式中，著(🕡)名导演(yǎn )谢飞、黎(lí )族(🍓)女(🍧)演员谭小燕共同(➕)为影(🌟)片(🈵)代(dài )表颁发(fā )了(👲)(le )入(👇)围证(zhèng )书。

Dave Stimple, an unfocused mattress store owner, is having issues connecting with everyone around him. He arrives at the shop one morning to find the local health and safety people have shut him down. Bugs, huge bed bugs and lots of complaints are cited as the reason. Dave is really confused and his relationships with his wife, friends, and his own humanity seem to be devolving and increasingly distracting anomalies begin to take over his reality. But his issues may not be as internal as they seem.

Jean Barreau leads a spiritual commune on the countryside and promises his followers a chance for a second life. When their doubles arrive at the house, the followers learn that Jean meant his promise of a second life quite literally.

Tommy DiNello, a freelance videographer, moves back to North Branford Ct. from New York City after two years on his own. His extremely close cousins, Marie and Dom Jr., are reluctantly accepting their father's new young foreign wife Varya, just two years after their mother's death. Since Tommy's parents moved to Florida when he was away, he has no choice but to stay with his Uncle Dominic and cousin Marie while battling memories of the reason he left town in the first place. His dear friend, Angela and him are reunited, This is bittersweet as she is the only one with clear knowledge and witness of his past.
